Note 1(Merele) Greek church records show a son Ioannis Matthaios Rodocanachi (2nd child) baptised 7 April 1853 at home in Liverpool - but how possible? Appears to have been based largely in Liverpool.
Note 2He worked with his brother Leone and their uncle Iannis ‘John’ Rodocanchi & Sons Co. In 1990 his portrait, which once hung in his own dining-room, was in the collection of Nancy (Ambrose) Demetriadi (née Rodocanchi).
