Note 1In 2007 Antonios (Emmanuel) Vlasto seemed to think that his grandfather Antonios lived in Rethymnon before moving to Istanbul in the mid C19th.
Note 2On the assumption that he was born some time around 1880, is there a candidate for his father among other known Cretan Vlastos?
Note 3A possible candidate as his father is George (Nicholas) Vlasto (1844-aft.1930), though he remained on Crete at least until 1896.
Note 4For the purpose of this genealogy he has been linked to George (Nicholas) Vlasto though there is no direct evidence of the relationship.
