NameTheodore (Eustratius) Petrocochino +, 6C6R
Birth?
Death23 Apr 1822, Chios, Greece/Hellenes
Note 1According to Argenti this Theodore was held hostage in the Kastro and hanged by the Turks. More likely, the Theodore concerned was the one married to Sevastie Ralli.
Note 2‘Greek Fire’ claims that a Theodore Petrocochino advised Prince Dimitrios Ypsilantes and Alexander Ralli against inciting rebellion against the Turks on Chios at a time when Prince Alexander Mavrocordato was bidding for presidency of Greece.
Note 3We don’t know if he ever married, nor whether he had children. If he had children no record of them appears to have survived and they probably died, or were killed by the Turks in the 1822 Chios Massacres, or vanished into the slave markets of Asia Minor.
