Note 1Exiled to Broussa where, in 1826, she founded the Patriarchal School of Kiaya-Bachi (Bursa). This school was latercombined with other orthodox establishments into the Central School of Broussa (founded by George Zarifi, 1876).
Note 2Soon after the 1829 armistace she retired to the family properties of Savani and Onitzetzy, north of Iasi.
