Note 1(Chaviara-Pitta) One of the ‘three most prominent men in Chios’ ('Greek Fire' p. 65), who was captured, along with Pandeli Rodocanachi and Michael Schilizzi, by the Turks in January 1822 and transported overland to Constantinople and beheaded there.
Note 2He was probably the Theodore Strati Ralli who was trading with Constantine ‘Ipliktis’ Ionides who appeared to have opened an office in Finsbury Square in 1815.
