Note 1(Chaviara-Axeskoufotos) He is recorded at West Norwood Cemetery, London, in a tomb with Alexandra Peter Ralli - presumably his daughter, buried with her maiden name... He was executor and trustee to his sister Alexandra Zarifi’s estate.
Note 2In 1932 he appears to have been the owner of a family portrait of two children (almost certainly himself and his sister Mary) painted perhaps in 1870-71 by Gustave Ricard. Well-know race horse owner and breeder.
Note 3Mary Ann Chadwell’s 1868 diary reports: ‘Saturday morning 13th June. At 7 o'clock the postman came from Hyde Park Place to say that Mrs Peter Ralli had a son’. He retired at the age of 27! He left estate of £1,333,000.
Note 4According to “Fifty Years of Sport” (1922) he retired from Ralli Bros in 1895, aged 27. A well-known racehorse owner and breeder.
Note 5Peter Ralli (her brother) of 11 Hyde Park Gardens, London was a trustee of the estate of his sister Alexandra Zarifi (née Ralli, d. 29-03-1932) along with George Constantine Demetriadi (office address: Stanley Street, Salford, Lancashire).
