Note 2Founded Ralli Brothers' Calcutta branch in 1851, along with Nicholas George Paspati. He was the founder, with Stephen (Augustus) Ralli of the new firm of Ralli Brothers established in 1866.
Note 3This new firm of Ralli Brothers took control of all the previous interests of Ralli Brothers apart from those in Russia which were taken over by the Scaramangas of Scaramanga & Co.
Note 4The Ralli branches in Liverpool and Manchester took the name Ralli Brothers while the others retained their old names.

Note 1(Makarana) In the 1880s she contributed substantially to the cost of the marble facings at St Sophia's in Bayswater.
Note 2She was one of the richest women in England at the time of her death, leaving the large estate of £509,580 [worth £59,620,860 in 2023]. Having no children of her own she made bequests to her closer relations.
Note 3In a list of estates of some rich Greek merchants is Mrs. Mimino John Ralli, aged 65, of 33 Gloucester Square, £508,940 ("An Estate of two Millions", The Times [London] 3 Nov 1908).
Note 4Her executors were Sir Lucas Eustratius Ralli (1st Bt) and Pandely Leonidas Argenti.
