Note 1In WWl he was a Major in the RASC. Not known to Argenti. Either he or his father John is said to have had a house at Ightham, Kent. In 1901 he was a shipping clerk.
Note 2In 1911 (Census) he was in Bridewater, Somerset, having married in 1904 an Evelyn, born 1883.
Note 3His death date is derived from a memorial placed in the Times (London) 12 Aug 1930 and 12 Aug, 1939, by his mother, Mrs Percival. Present at the death of his mother.
