Note 1Presumably he is a son of Alexander & Vierou Petrocochino. A Pandia A. Petrocochino of Chios d. aged 36 10 Feb 1878, buried 15 Feb 1878 at West Norwood.
Note 2According to Jane Russell a Louisa (aka Louise) Leclercq married a Pandia Alexander Petrocochino in 1862, having a son Alexander who was born in Galatz, Moldavia.
Note 3From information supplied by Sam Matton it seems possible that he was the father (under the name of Pandia Alexander Peters, stockbroker) of an illegimate child in England when in his early twenties.
Note 4It also seems possible that he married. Jane Russell writes: “... Louisa (aka Louise) Leclercq married a Pandia Alexander Petrocochino in 1862... and may have had one son Alexander actually born in Galatz (or Galati) then in Moldavia (Romania)”.
