Note 1Left Constantinople on the day it fell, 29 May 1453. He and two of his brothers, Marcantonio and Nicolaos, sailed to Chios and soon moved on to Crete.
Note 2In about 1500 the three brothers were invited to the Ionian Islands by the Venetian Republic. He settled in Corfu where he is recorded in the Livre d’Or of 1503. The branch died out ca. 1750.
