Note 1Mentioned as a legatee in the Will of Robert (Thomas) Denn (abt 1726 - 1829) when he appears to have been living at Stoke in Norfolk.
Note 2In 1851 he was a widower farming 350 acres at Stradsett, Norfolk, with 15 labourers, living with his son David aged 20 and three servants.
Note 3In the 1861 census he was still a farmer and visiting his late brother’s family at Dillington Hall.
